New York Timesthe venerable Gray Lady includes a calendar weekly in the Westchester section. Westchester theater coverage is usually limited to this section. The New York Times is selective in its coverage, mostly with stories about developments in Westchester theatre. There are reviews occasionally if the show runs at least four weeks.

Journal NewsOwned by Gannett, the Journal News provides extensivecoverage of the Hudson Valley. The Journal News routinely reviews local productions in addition to New York City performing arts. In the spring of 2006 a full time reporter for local arts and entertainment was brought on board to solidify their dominance in covering this local market. Patent TraderAlso owned by Gannett provides some coverage of Westchester theater, but generally not as extensive as their bigger sister daily, the Journal News.
